Indorelawan: This website is awesome- it has a variety of volunteer opportunities posted and updated regularly. You can choose your area of interest and it will filter the results based on that. Some opportunities involve direct service, others are indirect (the site is in Indonesian).

International Animal Rescue: IAR is an international organization with local campaigns in Indonesia. You can fundraise to sponsor orangutans or slow lorises! Or you can help spread the word with an awareness campaign.

Roots & ShootsFounded in 1991 by Dr. Jane Goodall, Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots is a youth service program for young people of all ages. Their mission is to foster respect and compassion for all living things, to promote understanding of all cultures and beliefs, and to inspire each individual to take action to make the world a better place for people, other animals, and the environment.

Rumah Faye: Rumah Faye works in the issue of child trafficking. There are a number of ways to get involved, one of which is to be an Anti-Trafficking Ambassador. Do you know what is extra special about this organization? It was founded by a student, just like you!

Sahabat AnakSahabat Anak is a non-profit organisation that provides quality education and children’s rights advocacy in an effort to encourage and inspire Jakarta’s street children to escape urban poverty. 

Taman Bacaan Pelangi: Taman Bacaan Pelangi [Rainbow Reading Gardens] is a non-profit organisation working to establish children’s libraries in remote areas of Eastern Indonesia since 2009.

WWF Indonesia: World Wildlife is a leading organization in wildlife conservation and endangered species. Learn how you can help WWF make a difference conserving our planet, habitats, & species. Maybe you want to run a 30 claps challenge campaign, or make an Earth Hour project at school or with your family!
